Fujifilm JPress 540W
With conventional web offset presses, printing sizes are limited by the size of the plate cylinder. The Jet Press 540W uses direct data printing so there is much more flexibility in the cut-off size of the paper. It can accommodate a wider variety of jobs, while remaining highly efficient for standard jobs that utilize the same paper size. The Jet Press 540W enables you to combine short-run and variable data capabilities, opening up new opportunities for a growing number of applications. It is ideal for the production of leaflets, magazines, educational textbooks, manuals and newspapers.The Jet Press 540W is unique amongst digital web presses in that it enables duplex printing within a single tower design, resulting in an extremely compact footprint of 6.6m × 2.8m. Supporting both inkjet and non-coated papers of between 64-157gsm, with a maximum printable width of 540mm, the press offers a top printing speed of 127m/min at 600 × 480dpi. The Jet Press 540W uses Fujifilm's own FM-based screening technology which enables smooth color tones and sharp text as well as eliminating moire and rosette patterns.
